In the past eight years Dr. Hamilton has written grants raising over $8 million to help prevent
homelessness on Cape Cod and the Islands. Examples include:

Grants Funded:

-HUD Continuum of Care Homeless Assistance Grant, for Cape Cod and the Islands. Authored Exhibit 1 and oversaw the entire application process. Successfully funded each year from 2003 through 2010 for over $1mil each year.

-HUD Housing Counseling Program Grant, for Smart Money Housing, City of Chicago, 2010. $78,449.

-Multiple small grants for capital campaign projects for the Plymouth Area Coalition for the homeless, 2006-2010. Over $200,000 raised.

-HUD Continuum of Care Homeless Assistance Grant, for Falmouth Housing Corporation for Bridgeport, an eight efficiency unit dwelling for chronically homeless individuals. 2004 $290,000
